Media Consumption

The Dutch study on changes in media consumption published last week kept bothering me. How come the authors claim that only 2% of the Dutch use new media very active. It is not what I see, hear and experience myself. Okay, I agree there’s much hype, far too much.

This morning I came across a new study, presented in Hollywood. It certainly helps to explain what the people from the Sociaal Cultureel Planbureau (what’s in a name??) forgot about or -more reasonable- were unable to measure.

Check out: people spend more than half their day consuming media.
